Tap
Tap is a high energy dance style where students learn rhythm and musicality. Our tap classes cover everything from broadway style to today's contemporary modern.
Ballet (6 years and up)
Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. Students learn proper classical ballet technique and correct body alignment. At EMD, we uphold the traditions of ballet and embrace this beautiful art form.
*Advanced students are evaluated for pointe work
Jazz
Students learn today's latest dance trends using today's most current music. Our jazz classes incorporate proper technique while turning, leaping, and jumping.
Lyrical
Aka, "Soft Jazz," combines ballet technique with the modern flare of jazz. Students registering for lyrical must also register for ballet.

Required Uniform
Tiny Stars: Black bodysuit, pink or black tights; tan tap shoes ONLY. Pink Ballet slippers.
Ballet: Black bodysuit, pink tights, black skirt, hair tighly pulled back, pink ballet slippers.
Tap, Jazz & Lyrical: Black bodysuit, pink or black tights, black jazz pants or Ella Marie shorts. Only ELLA MARIE t-shirts are to worn to class.
STUDENTS NOT PROPERLY ATTIRED WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN CLASS. PROPER SHOES MUST BE WORN IN CLASS.
